On Sunday 14th July 2013 I was invited to attend R16 Korea B-Boy Championships as press with Green Tea Graffiti. I didn’t really know what to expect from the event because I’d never been to a b-boy event before but I went with an open and excited mind. And man was I not disappointed. From the b-boying to the performances to the after party it was a day full of talent and a night full of wildness. It was amazing!

The winners of the night were Morning Of Owl (Korea). I felt so happy for them because they brought it in the battles with their gravity-defying style and downright cheekiness. The other teams did outstanding jobs too. All round it was sensational. Not to mention the final performances from Jay Park, Beenzino, Dok2 and the young siblings B-Girls Terra and Eddie (who are also from the UK!)

After Party: Performances from Dumbfounded, Jay Park, Crush and Cha Cha. B-boy cyphers went down too! It was nice meeting Crush, Jay Park and the b-boys at the after party. And free RedBull in VIP! (Win win!) I wish all my batteries hadn’t died by this point. It would have been nice to film some of the party.

Thank you R16Korea and Green Tea Graffiti!
